Finding the University of Chicago Hospitals:

Once you are Inside the University of Chicago Hospitals:

From the Dan Ryan Expressway (Interstate 90/94)

Exit at 55th St. (Garfield Blvd.) and turn east. Travel about one-half mile to Washington Park. As you drive through the park, follow the blue "H" (Hospital) signs to the University of Chicago Hospitals. When you reach Cottage Grove Ave. (and 57th St.), turn right (south). Go two blocks to the next light and turn left (east) onto 59th St. Go one block and turn left again (north) onto Maryland Ave.

From Lake Shore Drive

Exit at 57th Dr. (at the Museum of Science and Industry) and follow it as it first goes west and then curves left (south) around the museum. At 57th St., continue straight (south) as it becomes Cornell Dr. Shortly after the museum, bear right (west) onto the Midway Plaisance. At the fourth light, turn right (north) onto Cottage Grove Ave. Go one block and turn right again (east) onto 59th St. Go one block and turn left (north) onto Maryland Ave.

From the Chicago Skyway (Interstate 90) or Stony Island Avenue

From the Chicago Skyway (I-90 westbound), exit at Stony Island Ave. Follow Stony Island Ave. north just past 60th St. to the Midway Plaisance. Turn left (west). At the fourth light, turn right (north) onto Cottage Grove Ave. Go one block and turn right again (east) onto 59th St. Go one block and turn left (north) onto Maryland Ave.

Parking

Valet parking is available. You may also park yourself: enter the garage from Maryland Ave. (or 58th St.).

To Adult Psychiatry

We are located in Billings, a the part of the UC Hospitals that reflects the campus architecture. Within the hospital , the Department is situated at the intersection of the A and the M cooridors on third floor. Take the "A-West" elevator to the third floor. Just outside the elevator is the "A Desk", room A-336. Please check in there for your appointment. See map for route from 59th street entrance, valet parking or self-park on Maryland Ave.

To Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Within the hospital, the Child Department is situated at the intersection of the W and the M cooridors on fourth floor.Take the "A-West" elevator to the fourth floor.
