Research Interests:

My research currently focuses on the bidirectional interactions between the effects of psychoactive drugs and the social context under which they are commonly used. Social conditions are thought to enhance drug effects, possibly in part because the drugs facilitate social interaction. An investigation of this interaction may provide a better understanding of the acute effects of drugs of abuse as well as new insights about underlying mechanisms mediating social behaviors.
