Research in Psychiatry
The University of Chicago Department of Psychiatry specializes in a diverse collection of psychiatric areas. The specialty areas in Child Psychiatry include research programs in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, developmental disorders, and substance abuse. In Adult Psychiatry, specialty programs include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, sleep, eating disorders, and psychiatric care of medically ill patients.
